I was in the bathroom, washing my hands and thinking about Roman Polanski. This thought splashed into my head:
How much does someone have to contribute to the creative landscape to put them above the law?
We see this all the time with celebrities, performers and athletes. Chris Rock nailed Polanski on this, yet Polanski still garners support, because he made the hell out of Chinatown.
What if da Vinci stole corpses? Or Brad Bird tickled children until they died of exhaustion? Or… I suppose we could fill a sack with “what-ifs.”
The point is, I’d like to make something so incredible that I can hijack a blimp.
